Governor Tony Evers' Safer at Home order pushed back the spring seasons for local high schools in Door and Kewaunee Counties.
The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) announced Tuesday that the order means schools can not host practices or games until at least April 24th. Coaches can also not bring their athletes together or encourage them to meet, but they can still offer virtual workout plans. Spring games could have started for all sports by the beginning of the next week, but are now on hold. It could also set up a sprint to the playoffs if the hiatus lasts all the way to April 24th. Below are the dates are when WIAA Regional or Sectional action was slated to begin under normal conditions:
Baseball: May 28th
Boys Golf: June 2nd/3rd
Boys Tennis: May 26th
Track: May 26th
Softball: May 24th
Girls' soccer: June 2nd
