The Wisconsin Badgers haven't played a game since it narrowly lost to Oregon in the Rose Bowl, but they will host Illinois Friday as a ranked team.
Prior to the conclusion of Saturday's slate of games, the Badgers were ranked 16th in the AP Poll and 15th in the Coaches Poll. They are one of seven teams in the top 25 that have not played a snap this season, joining Ohio State, Penn State, Minnesota, Michigan, Oregon, and USC with that distinction.
The Badgers and the Illini face off Friday at Camp Randall Stadium beginning at 7 p.m. The Badgers are early 23.5 point favorites according to some oddsmakers as they try to avoid losing to the Illini in back to back years for the first time since 2002.
