Spartans volleyball look to get back on track versus Irish

The sprint of a fall season got a lot shorter for the Luxemburg-Casco volleyball team.

It will have been approximately two weeks since the Spartans last took the court for a match when they host the Freedom Irish on Monday. They have only recently been able to get back onto the court after COVID-19 concerns forced them to cancel about seven matches. The team returns to face the conference's top two teams in Freedom and Fox Valley Lutheran with the NEC title on the line. Prior to their play stoppage, the Spartans had run the table not just with matches but with sets as well. Speaking on October 8th, head coach Jeff Frey explains why his team has been having so much success this year.

First serve for Monday's match is 7 p.m.
