By early Saturday morning, the Luxemburg-Casco and Southern Door football teams should know where their next games could be. The Wisconsin State Journal is reporting 2 a.m. as the magic time when brackets will be posted on the WIAA website. Over 220 teams in 11-man football and 20 teams in eight-man football will be divided into their seven divisions and from there into regions. Each region will feature four teams with the higher seed serving as the host. The WIAA says they hoping to schedule each pod as competitively as possible while also taking travel into consideration. The winner of each semi-final would play each other in a cumulating regional event, though the WIAA is not saying no to the two losing teams or any non-playoff eligible squads from scheduling another contest when the season ends no later than November 14th.
