The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers will be a part of the Milwaukee Brewers system for the next 10 years under a new agreement signed by the teams last week.
The Timber Rattlers have been a Brewers affiliate since 2009, but they have previously been the team's low-A partner and had to renew that agreement every four years. The two sides are now locked into a 10-year agreement and the Timber Rattlers will now host the organization's high A prospects.
Now it is up to Major League Baseball to decide how this season will look for its minor league teams after restructuring the entire system in the offseason. The 2021 schedule is expected to be release in the near future.
