Gibraltar Volleyball will be in pursuit of their first Packerland win of the season on Saturday when they face a Sevastopol team on their own hot streak. The Vikings have lost competitive matchups to both Kewaunee and Sturgeon Bay after their season-opening win against Green Bay West. Their record stands at 1-2, and if the Vikings are able to claim victory Saturday, it will snap a three-game winning streak for Sevastopol. The Pioneers look to build off their Packerland opener win Thursday night over Kewaunee. Since losing the first game of the alternative season to Green Bay Prebles, the 3-1 Pioneers also have wins over Clintonville and Winnebago Lutheran. Saturday’s encounter will be each team’s third game of the week and their first of two games against each other this season. Both teams are expected to face off again on March 25th. Saturday’s contest is scheduled to start at 2:30 P.M.
