The Milwaukee Brewers traded blows with the Texas Rangers in Spring Training play on Friday. The Rangers got the scoring started in the top of the second inning. They would extend the lead to 3-0 after scoring two runs in the top of the third. In the bottom of the inning, the Brewers answered back with a two run inning, and then tied up the game in the bottom of the fourth inning. Neither team would score until the seventh inning, when each team scored once and the final score ended in a draw, 4-4 and the game was called after seven innings.
Both Garrett Mitchell and Daniel Robertson hit solo homeruns for the Brewers. The Brewers are now 7-5-1 in Spring Training. Texas is now 5-5-1. On Sunday at 3:10 P.M., Milwaukee will face the Seattle Mariners.
