Bucks take sweep in Washington

The Milwaukee Bucks have been winners in four straight games after Giannis Antetokounmpo captured his third consecutive triple-double on Monday. Aside from scoring 31 points, Antetokounmpo recorded 15 rebounds and 10 assists in the win. After taking game one of the series on Saturday 125-119, the Bucks seized control in the third quarter where they separated by as much as 23 points. The Wizards cut the lead to as little as fifteen points in the fourth quarter but the Bucks never gave up the lead on their way to a 133-122 victory. The Bucks also received 23 points from Khris Middleton, 22 points from Brook Lopez, and 15 from Jrue Holiday. 

 

The win is the third straight for Milwaukee since the All-Star break, and their fourth straight overall. Milwaukee will have a bout with the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. The 76ers are the East’s top seed at the moment with a 27-12 record. Milwaukee is two games out of first place and are at third in the East, and have a 25-14 record. Tip-off for Wednesday’s matchup is scheduled for 6:00 P.M.
