As Wednesday night’s matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers was looking to slip away in the third quarter, the Milwaukee Bucks engineered a 19-point comeback. With 9:45 left in the third quarter, the Bucks were down 52-33. The Bucks would then lead 91-84 with under a minute to go, but Philadelphia would push the game to overtime after a three-point basket with 0.4 seconds on the clock by Furkan Korkmaz.
In the overtime period, it was the Bucks who would separate as Giannis Antetokounpo would take over. Giannis would be big on the scoring and rebounding end, scoring 32 points, grabbing 15 rebounds, and having 5 assists. Donte DiVincenzo contributed four 3-pointers on the way to a 20 point night. Jrue Holiday would follow both scorers with 19 of his own. The final score would be 109-104. The Bucks return to the Fiserv Forum this weekend when they host the San Antonio Spurs. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 P.M.
