For the first time in state history, there will be local high school football this spring.
Beginning at 5 p.m., Sturgeon Bay will look for its first victory in eight-man football history when it hosts Chequamegon at Capital Credit Union Park in Ashwaubenon. Reece Robillard and Brady Tooley will have the call on 103.3 The Clipper beginning at 4:30 p.m. with the pregame show.
At 7 p.m., Gibraltar will kick off its spring campaign against NEW Lutheran in Institute. Tim Kowols and Bryan Mazur will have the call beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the pregame show on 105.1 The Goat.
Coming up Saturday afternoon, Kewaunee will play in a neutral site game in Amherst against Black River Falls. A preview of that game will be available Saturday morning and will be broadcast on 102.1 MORE FM beginning at 1 p.m. with Matt Piesler and Paul Schmitt on the call starting with the pregame show at 12:30 p.m.
