Bucks tight game lost in overtime

The up and down Milwaukee Bucks team was up and down in Monday’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns, which they ended up dropping in overtime, 128-127. The game was tight throughout, as the Bucks led 25-24 after the first quarter. By halftime, the Suns were up 55-54. The track meet continued through the third quarter, when the Bucks would lead 90-83 after the three. Neither team could grasp a double-digit lead as regulation ended with the score tied at 116. In overtime, the Suns Devin Booker would sink a game-winning free throw with 0.3 seconds remaining and Phoenix would win 128-127. Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee in scoring with 33. Khris Middleton had 26 and Jrue Holiday ended up with 25. The Bucks remain in third place in the NBA East conference with a record of 35-22. The Bucks will be back on the court Thursday when they host the East’s top seed, the Philadelphia 76ers.
