Track and Field recap: Eagles sweep Algoma Quad

Packerland teams went to two different quads on Tuesday. One was in Algoma and the other was in Oconto.

 

The boys and girls standing from the Algoma Quad meet would mirror each other with Southern Door taking first place in both. In the girls side, Southern Door would take first with 71 points. They would be followed by Peshtigo with 53, Gibraltar with 44, and Algoma with 36. 

 

In the boys meet standings, Southern Door would be champions of the quad with 98 points. Peshtigo would be the runner-ups with 75 points. Gibraltar would finish with 24 points and Algoma would have 3. 

 

In Oconto, five teams competed at the meet. Sevastopol would narrowly defeat Kewaunee for the girls first place. Sevastopol would have 98 points to Kewaunee’s 97. Sturgeon Bay would get third with 81 points. NEW Lutheran and Oconto would round out the rest of the girls standings. 

 

In the boys standings, Kewaunee would roll to first place with 132 points. Trailing them was Sturgeon Bay then Sevastopol. NEW Lutheran and Oconto would take fourth and fifth place.
