Six area golfers still have life to their season after WIAA Regional Action concluded on Tuesday.
In Division 2, Luxemburg-Casco qualified for the sectional meet after the team took third at its regional held at Hilly Haven Golf Course. Zach Smith led the way for the Spartans with an 80 on the par 72 course. The team registered 342 strokes, finishing behind Xavier and Wrightstown. Sturgeon Bay had a total score of 394 and was led by Issak Aune's95. Jacob Norton was one stroke better at 94 with Southern Door finishing with a 397.
In Division 3, Gibraltar's pair of Teddy Roth and Payton Thomas scored berths to the WIAA Sectional after finishing in the top 4 of unconnected golfers. Rother scored an 89 on the par-71 Golden Sands Golf Course while Thomas collected a 104. Sevastopol as a team finished in sixth place and was led by Jack DeYoung's 109.
