The Milwaukee Brewers had their three-game winning streak snapped by the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday. After sweeping the Cincinnati Reds following the All-Star break, the Brewers returned home to struggle to find offense against the Royals.
Manny Pina drove in both Brewer runs in the second inning, but that was all Milwaukee could muster against Kansas City.
Hunter Strickland (0-1) took the loss for the Brewers and Mike Minor (7-6) got the win for the Royals. Both teams will face off Wednesday in the finale of the two-game set at American Family Field.
