Clippers blow past Kiel on 96.7 WBDK

A match-up between the conference's top two teams turned into a blow-out in the first half as Sturgeon Bay toppled Kiel on Thursday.

Spencer Hubbard helped set up the first goal with an assist to Gigstead five minutes in before Robert Alas knocked in his first of two tallies in the ninth minute. Ben Luders made it 3-0 in the 12th minute before the Raiders were able to get one past the goalkeeper. Alas got his second goal more than 20 minutes later to give the Clippers a three-goal lead heading into the break.

Fernandez would score two goals between the 54th and 57th minutes before Alex Reeths finished the scoring for the Clippers with a score in the 67th minute. Puchalla would score the Raiders' second goal in the 75th minute to cap off the scoring.

The Clippers' next game is Friday night in Wrightstown. Next game on WBDK will be on Monday in DePere at 6:30 p.m.  Pregame will begin at 6 p.m.
