The Marquette Golden Eagles saw a four-point halftime lead disappear in the second half en route to a 90-81 loss to DePaul at Wintrust Arena in Chicago Wednesday night.
An 18-2 run that started with 14 minutes on the clock in the second half ultimately doomed the Golden Eagles. Justin Lewis led the Golden Eagles with 26 points while Stevie Mitchell and Darryl Morsell each chipped in 12 points in the loss. Javon Freeman-Liberty overcame a slow start and a cut finger near the end of the first half to lead the Blue Demons with 26 points.
The loss was the Golden Eagles' fifth straight on the road, but they will end their regular season at home on Saturday when St. John's comes to Fiserv Forum.
