Cubs top A's on 105.1 The GOAT

A big inning led Institute past Baileys Harbor 8-2 Friday night.

 

Institute scored first in the first inning and stayed that way until Baileys Harbor tied it up in the top of the fourth. Institute broke the game open by scoring five runs in the bottom of the fourth and added another run in the fifth, making it 7-1. Joe Burlo was the lead off batter for Baileys Harbor in the top of the sixth and hit a solo home run to make it 7-2. Institute would score once more in the top of the eighth when Institute for a final of 8-2. Kyle Ploor was the winning pitcher, going the distance with 9 strike outs. Baileys Harbor went thru 3 pitchers Jon Kordon started and pitched 4 innings, followed by Ben Johnson in the 5th and Collin Strege in the 6th.
