A two-run shot by Omar Narvaez was all the Brewers needed to beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 2-0 Sunday afternoon.
The homer came in the fifth inning after Kolten Wong earned a walk. Three of the Brewers' five hits came in the inning, but yielded no additional runs.
Brandon Woodruff pitched well as he gets reacclimated to the starting rotation. He allowed no runs on six hits while striking out eight Pirates batters.
The Brewers' road trip continues on July 4th when they face the Chicago Cubs.
