Big inning tunes out Rockers

The Green Bay Rockers had a six-run inning go against them Friday night en route to a 10-4 loss against the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders.

The Rockers' pitching staff struggled with control all night, walking eight Dock Spiders compared to four strikeouts. The big blow happened during the six-run third inning when Branden Comia snuck a ball over the fence in the right-center field.

The Rockers scored twice in the third and fifth innings, but left plenty of runners on the basepaths. Matt Scannell drove in a pair with an RBI single in the third inning and another run in the fifth after Keniel de Leon brought in a run in on his own.

The Rockers head west Saturday to face the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters.
