Brewers continue to bolster bullpen ahead of trade deadline

The Milwaukee Brewers added plenty of pieces to their bullpen after one notable departure on Monday.

The dealing started with a shock as Josh Hader was traded to the San Diego Padres for four players, including closer Taylor Rogers and fellow pitcher Dinelson Lamet.

During the overnight hours, the Brewers made another deal, this time acquiring right-handed pitcher Matt Bush from the Texas Rangers in exchange for left-handed pitching prospect Antoine Kelly and utility man Mark Mathias. According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Bush can touch 97 miles per hour with his fastball and also features a tough curveball and cutter.

The trade deadline is at 5 p.m. Tuesday, leaving plenty of more time for more deals to be made.
