The Islanders and Bays will battle for a spot in the DCBL Championship on Sunday afternoon.
Sister Bay won both games of the season series, taking the first game 6-1 back on May 22nd, and the second 10-4 on July 10th. It is always hard to beat a team three times, but the Bays are looking to do that exact thing this weekend.
In the Bays 6-1 win in Week 3 of the season, Sam Forkert would go on to pitch a complete game on the Islanders, and Tom Sawyer put the game away with a stand up triple in the bottom of the seventh. Alex Johnson drove in the only run for Washington Island in the top of the first, as they were shut down after that.
The Islanders are looking to reverse the tide and stay hot as a team as they knocked West Jacksonport from the 3 seed just last week winning 3-2 on a walk off walk.
Quinn Struck and Tim Kowols will have the call on 105.1 The GOAT from Sister Bay with coverage beginning at 1:00 p.m. with first pitch set for 1:30.
The other game this weekend has West Jacksonport traveling to Kolberg in a Semi-Final matchup on Sunday.
