An eighth inning homer by Luis Urias set the stage for a 3-2 10 inning win by the Milwaukee Brewers over the Cardinals in St. Louis Saturday night.
It was the answer the Brewers needed after the Cardinals' Nolan Gorman went yard in the previous inning to put the home team up by a run. The game would go into extra innings with the Brewers striking early with Hunter Renfroe tripling in the first run of the 10th frame followed by a run-scoring sacrifice fly from Kolten Wong. The Cardinals would post their own RBI sacrifice fly in their half of the 10th inning, but Matt Bush was able to close the door for the save.
The rubber match will take place in St. Louis on Sunday at 1:15 p.m.
