Cross country teams head to Mishicot

Several of the local cross country teams will make their way to Mishicot Thursday afternoon for a huge multi-team invitational. 

 


Luxemburg-Casco, Algoma, Gibraltar, Kewaunee, Sevastopol, Sturgeon Bay, and Southern Door  will join West De Pere, Seymour, Brillion, Cedar Grove-Belgium, Chilton, Coleman, De Pere, Fox Valley Lutheran, Hilbert, Kiel, Little Chute, Manitowoc Lutheran, New Holstein, Oconto Falls, Ozaukee, Random Lake, Roncalli, Sheboygan Lutheran. Sheboygan Falls, Two Rivers, Oconto, Notre Dame De La Baie Academy, Bay Port, Oneida Nation, NEWCHAA (Northeast Wisconsin Christian Homeschoolers Athletic Associaton), Reedsville, Denmark, Wrightstown, Providence Academy (Green Bay), and St. Ignatius / Chesterton Academy for the Mishicot Bremser Invite. 

 

Luxemburg-Casco's boys (7th place, 169 points) and girls (11th, 286 points) were the top local teams from last year's event. The Spartans' Gabe Havel took 10th with a time of 17:22, and Sevastopol's Bea Dramm took 11th with a time of 20:29 to lead all local runners on the 5K course.

 

Middle school races begin at 3:40 p.m. with high school races for varsity and junior varsity races following that.
