The Wisconsin Badgers basketball team will suit up for one of its final matchups in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Tuesday when Wake Forest descends on the state capitol.
The Badgers are 5-1 on the season, going 3-1 on neutral courts and 2-0 at the Kohl Center. They are coming off an impressive holiday tournament when their only loss came against Kansas on a buzzer-beater on Thanksgiving Day.
The Demon Deacons are also 5-1 on the season, with their only loss coming against mid-major stalwart Loyola Marymount. They beat Hampton 97-70 on Saturday.
The game tips off at 8 p.m. with the Big Ten in a two-game hole to the ACC after Northwestern lost to Pittsburgh and Minnesota fell to Virginia Tech. The expiration of the Big Ten's media deal with ESPN means this is the last year of the popular ACC/Big Ten Challenge, which has been dominated by the Big Ten in recent years.
