Even with both teams effectively out of the 2022 playoff picture, there is still a lot for the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears when they battle on the Chicago lakefront on Sunday.
The winner of Sunday's game will become the winningest team in NFL history, a bragging point for the Bears since the 1920s. Many thought the Packers would have sprinted past the Bears, but it has been easier said than done for the 4-8 squad. They lost 40-33 to the Philadelphia Eagles as they let Jalen Hurts run wild along with their other backs. Things will not get easier in that department as the Bears expect Justin Fields back in the lineup after sustaining a shoulder injury against the Falcons two weeks ago. He sat out of last week's loss to the New York Jets.
Neither team looks like they did when the Packers won the Lambeau matchup 27-10 back in September. Both squads have sustained multiple injuries at key positions, making the result of this game anyone's guess.
Kickoff from Soldier Field is set for noon.
