Bucks ride strong second half into win over Timberwolves

The Milwaukee Bucks were finally able to end their losing streak in a 123-114 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The game was a tale of two halves for Milwaukee, as they trailed 61-50 after the end of the first half. The Bucks continued their shooting woes in the first half, shooting under 15% from three and 35% overall. Giannis Antetokoumpo and Bobby Portis lead the way for the Bucks at the break, who would look for more from their guards and bench players in the second half.

Milwaukee would come out firing in the second half of play, and would finally start burying the three ball, with help from bench players Joe Ingles and AJ Green. Milwaukee would shoot 60% from the field overall in the second half, and bring their three point percentage up from 12% to 35.9%.

Giannis Antetokoumpo would finish with 43 points and 20 rebounds, for back to back 40/20 games, the first time that has been done since 1982 with Moses Malone. Bobby Portis and Joe Ingles would pick up double doubles each, with Portis finishing with 22 and 14, and Ingles finishing with 14 and 10.

Minnesota was led by star Anthony Edwards who scored a team high 30 points and grabbed 10 boards as well.
