Nine local youth will be advancing to the regional finals of the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship after winning the District Level competition in Sturgeon Bay on Saturday morning.

Boys and girls, nine to 13 years old, from Door and Kewaunee counties, participated at St. John Bosco Gymnasium after winning their Council competition earlier this year.  The winners will now advance to the Diocesan (regional) level in DePere in March.  Saturday’s winners are listed below with their respective scores, after shooting 25 free throws.

Girls Division:

9 Year Old Winner:  Maggie Hoffman  16

10 Year Old Winner:  Nora Whitley  21

11 Year Old Winner:  Chloe Kilgore  18

12 Year Old Winner:   Kyrsten Derrig  7

13 Year Old Winner:  Camryn Ours  21

Boys Division:

11 Year Old Winner:  Mac Hoffman 22

12 Year Old Winner:  Quintyn Schurtz  17

13 Year Old Winner:  Payton Schaller 21
