For all but one local team, Thursday marks the final tune-up day for girls' basketball teams ahead of the start of next week's WIAA postseason.
In NEC action, Luxemburg-Casco will travel to Appleton to face Fox Valley Lutheran for a 7 p.m. tip.
Packerland Conference play will feature Southern Door hosting NEW Lutheran, Sevastopol holding court against Oconto, Kewaunee traveling to Sturgeon Bay, and Gibraltar visiting Algoma. The Southern Door game will begin at 7 p.m. while the other Packerland games will start at 7:30 p.m.
NEW Radio Sports Network will cover the WIAA Tournament beginning on Tuesday with Gibraltar heading to Niagara, Southern Door hosting Algoma, and Luxemburg-Casco battling at West De Pere. We will follow the local winners of those games and Sevastopol in the regional semi-final round.
