Wednesday night, the Wisconsin Badgers got a much-needed home win over the Iowa Hawkeyes 60-49 at the Kohl Center. Connor Essegian poured in 17 points to lead the Badgers, who turned a one-point lead at halftime into a decisive win by outscoring the Hawkeyes 37-26 in the second half. Tyler Wahl added a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds in the win for Wisconsin.
Wisconsin (16-11, 8-9 Big Ten) will now travel to Michigan to take on the Wolverines on Sunday at 1 p.m., hoping to avenge a loss earlier this month in Madison.
