Brewers rout Royals late

The Milwaukee Brewers scored nine runs from the sixth inning on as they beat the Kansas City Royals in the desert on Monday 10-4.

The Royals scored all four of their runs before the Brewers got onto the scoreboard with an RBI hit by Garrett Mitchell. The Brewers would tie the game in the sixth inning with a three-run homer by Mike Brousseau and an RBI single by Brice Turang. They would take the lead for good in the eighth inning on a Jeferson Quero double and add onto it with a homer by Hedbert Perez later in the frame. Perez would have a second RBI double in the ninth after Tyler Black hit his own in the ninth inning to turn the close game on its head.

The Brewers are back in action on Tuesday with a matchup against the Chicago Cubs in Maryvale.
