The Green Bay Blizzard led by 10 after the first quarter and never looked back in a 44-25 win over the Iowa Barnstormers at the Resch Center Friday night.
Quarterback Ja'Rome Johnson rushed for three scores and threw for another pair as the Blizzard had two separate 14-0 runs in the second half to put some distance between them after trading scores with the Barnstormers in the first half. Zach Reader found Caleb Smith twice in the endzone to lead the Barnstormers in the loss.
The Blizzard are next in action on April 16th at Sioux Falls.
