Golfers head north to Peninsula Golf Course Thursday

After getting their make-up round in at The Woods on Tuesday, Packerland Conference golfers will travel north to take on Peninsula Golf Course Thursday.

Finley Lavine shot the low round of the day at 38 through nine holes at The Woods, winning by one stroke over Finn Salm of Gibraltar (39), and two strokes over last years Packerland Conference Golfer of the Year, Grant Bauman (40).

The golfers will now take on Peninsula State Park Golf Course, with Gibraltar as the host school. The course features the iconic 8th hole, which is a 69 yard par three, which sits on top of a small cliff, and the golfers need to hit the green below. Joining Gibraltar at the meet will be Kewaunee, NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy, Oconto, Peshtigo, Sevastopol, Southern Door, and Sturgeon Bay.

The tee time for the golfers is set for 4:00 p.m.
