If area baseball diamonds can dodge Friday's raindrops, there will be local high school action in Door County.

Both Gibraltar and Sturgeon Bay will be happy to just get games in Friday as they battle each other at Memorial Field in a doubleheader.  Tim Kowols and Reece Robillard will have the call for game one of the doubleheader on 105.1 The GOAT and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 4:15 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the first pitch at 4:30 p.m.

Other games scheduled for Friday include Southern Door traveling to Kewaunee (4 p.m.), Sevastopol traveling to NEW Lutheran (4 p.m.), and Algoma making the trip to Oconto (3:30 p.m.) 

Thursday's action saw Luxemburg-Casco's ninth-inning rally fall short against Shawano in a 9-8 defeat. The Spartans are off until they play a pair of games on Saturday against Oconto Falls that will be broadcast on 104.1 WRLU and streamed on New Radio Sports Network.
