Adames helps Brewers snap six game skid

Wily Adames helped the Milwaukee Brewers avoid a weeklong losing streak as they beat the San Francisco Giants 7-3.

William Contreras opened the scoring with a two-run homer in the second inning, only to have it rendered moot in the bottom half of the frame. The Adames show began there as he opened the scoring in the third inning with an RBI sacrifice fly and added to the lead with a two-run home run. Adames would follow up Christian Yelich's RBI single in the ninth with one of his own to cap off the scoring.

Joel Payamps earned the win after Adrian Houser failed to go the minimum with the game tied.

The Brewers return home to American Family Field to play the Los Angeles Dodgers beginning on Monday at 6:40 p.m.
