Kewaunee battles Gibraltar at Fox Cities Stadium on 105.1 The GOAT

Kewaunee and Gibraltar will play for their third time in a week, but this time will be in a much different location than their home fields.

The Storm and the Vikings will battle each other at Fox Cities Stadium for the second year in a row. Both head coaches, Daniel Spranger for Kewaunee and Jay Kita for Gibraltar plan on bringing bigger rosters to the home of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers to give them a memorable experience.

In their previous matchups, Gibraltar could not generate the offense needed to mask their mistakes in the field on Tuesday losing both ends of a doubleheader to Kewaunee by the scores of 10-1 and 9-1. Both teams are coming off non-conference losses, with the Storm losing to Denmark on Thursday and the Vikings falling to Mishicot on Friday.

Tim Kowols will have the call on 105.1 The GOAT, NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com, and 1051TheGOAT.com beginning at 4:15 p.m. and the first pitch at 4:30 p.m. or following the conclusion of the South Bend Cubs/Wisconsin Timber Rattlers game.

In other baseball action on Friday, Sturgeon Bay finished off their suspended game against Peshtigo, winning 9-2 and Southern Door toppled Manitowoc Lutheran 10-2.

Saturday's action will also include Algoma traveling to Oconto for a doubleheader (10 a.m.), Sevastopol visiting to St. Thomas Aquinas for a doubleheader (11 a.m.), and Southern Door heading to Winneconne for a doubleheader (11 a.m.).
