Thursday will feature only two games but plenty of discussion about where the WIAA Tournament trails where lead for the area's baseball teams.
In Division 2, #8 Luxemburg-Casco will host #9 Seymour on May 25th with a potential date with #1 Denmark on the road slated for May 30th. The Spartans will face Clintonville in an NEC Matchup at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Sturgeon Bay earned a #11 seed and they will battle at #6 Shawano May 25th.
In Division 3, Kewaunee snagged the #1 seed and they will wait for the winner of #9 Lourdes Academy and New Holstein for a May 30th date in the regional semifinals. Southern Door holds a #3 seed and they will also wait until May 30th to begin tournament play against the winner of #11 Valders and #6 Howards Grove.
In Division 4, Gibraltar/Washington Island earned a #3 seed and they will host the winner of #6 Rosholt and #11 Almond-Bancroft on May 30th. Algoma garnered a #4 seed and they will battle #13 St. Thomas Aquinas. A potential Packerland Conference could occur on May 30th if #12 Sevastopol is able to get past #5 Iola Scandinavia on May 25th. The Pioneers are slated to face Sheboygan Lutheran on Thursday.
