Storm's hit parade pounces Panthers

The Kewaunee Storm outhit their opponents 12-3 in their 9-2 romp over the Reedsville Panthers Saturday afternoon at home.

The Storm struck first with three runs in the second inning and countered the Panther's two-run response with four more in the bottom half to put the game away. Nine different Storm players registered hits in the game, including three by Caleb Schaller and two by Payton Kohnle. The pair of hit leaders each tripled but it was Mitchell Thompson's two-run shot in the third that was the game's biggest blow. Five others drove in at least one run. Sawyer Ubersox led the Panthers with one of his two hits drive in their only runs of the game in the third inning.

Brady Pribek picked up the win for the Storm, pitching five innings of three-hit ball, allowing two runs to score while striking out six.
