Four area softball teams will continue their WIAA Softball Tournament runs on Thursday, two of which are featured on the NEW RadioSportsNetwork.
After winning a back-and-forth game with the Kewaunee Storm, the Southern Door Eagles will move their sights to a Regional Final matchup with the New Holstein Huskies on Thursday. Gary Barta will be on the call from New Holstein on U-102.1 and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 4:45 with the pregame show and first pitch at 5:00 between the Eagles and the Huskies.
The #1 seeded Luxemburg-Casco Spartans will host the #4 Marinette Marines Thursday afternoon in a WIAA Division 2 regional final. Thursday’s game will be broadcast on 104.1 WRLU beginning at 4:15 p.m. the pregame. with the first pitch scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at the Luxemburg-Casco Sports Complex. The game will also be streamed on New Radio Sports Network with Paul Schmitt and Reece Robillard on the call.
Another #1 seed, Algoma, will play at home at 4:30 p.m. when they welcome St. Mary's Springs.
The third-seeded Sevastopol Pioneers will travel for their matchup to face the second-seeded Almond Bancroft at 4:30 p.m.
