Two local teams will join Gibraltar, Southern Door, and Kewaunee in the second round of the WIAA Tournament on Tuesday while two others saw their seasons come to a close Thursday evening.

Algoma took the drama out of their game early as they beat St. Thomas Aquinas in five innings 10-0.

Luxemburg-Casco had plenty of drama in their matchup against Seymour as they needed extra innings to win 5-4.

Sevastopol saw their season end with a 12-2 loss to Iola-Scandinavia as did Sturgeon Bay in a 12-2 loss to Shawano on the road.
