The National League announced its roster for the upcoming Major League Baseball All-Star Game in Seattle next week and Devin Williams will be the only representative for the Milwaukee Brewers.
Williams has a stellar 1.57 ERA and has converted on 17 of 18 save opportunities while posting a 4-1 record this season so far.
Christian Yelich was expected to get serious consideration but was not named to the roster despite posting impressive numbers of 10 home runs with 40 RBIs and a .273 average with 18 stolen bases. He could be chosen as a replacement player later this week.
The All-Star Game will be held in Seattle next Tuesday with game time set for 7 p.m.
