Bucks fall hard to Nets in Summer League

The Milwaukee Bucks could not overcome an ugly 35-9 third quarter in their 92-71 loss to the New Jersey Nets in Summer League play on Tuesday night.

 

Milwaukee and New Jersey went back and forth in the first half with the score tied at 18-18 after one quarter and 40-40 at intermission.

 

The Nets then went on a 15-0 run out the gate in the second half and the Bucks never recovered.

 

Lindell Wigginton led the Bucks with 11 points as no other Milwaukee Player hit double digits.  Season leader scorer MarJon Beauchamp who was averaging over 20 points per game was held scoreless on 0-5 in shooting.

 

The next Bucks’ Summer League game will be Thursday against the Miami Heat at 2:30 p.m.
