Door County, Shoreland battle in All-Star game on 105.1 The GOAT

The best of the Door County League and the Shoreland League will take to the baseball diamond Thursday night for its annual All-Star game.

The two squads feature plenty of familiar names in Door and Kewaunee counties. The Shoreland League announced its squad on Wednesday, with Kolberg's Austen Dart and Christian Counard and Egg Harbor's Brady Kita among those players who could have suited up for the Door County League but will instead be in the dugout for the Shoreland League as representatives for the Algoma 'Guins.

The Door County League announced its roster last week with the Braves boasting the most selections with six selections, followed by five for the Indians and Sister Bay.

Thursday's All-Star Game will take place at Joannes Stadium in Green Bay, which has hosted baseball games since the late 1920s and it is the current home of the Green Bay Blue Ribbons. Tim Kowols and Reece Robillard will have the call on 105.1 The GOAT and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 7:15 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the first pitch at 7:30 p.m.
