You will not have to travel far to see high-quality women's basketball this summer.
The Wisconsin GLO will serve as this year's host of the Global Women's Basketball Association's playoffs beginning on August 5th. The playoffs will take place over the course of two days with the semifinals taking place at 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on August 5th and the final at 1 p.m. on August 6th.
Featuring former Green Bay stars Laken James and Frankie Wurtz, the GLO are 6-2 on the season, losing twice to last year's champion Flint. They also defeated Team Japan back in May to open the season. They most recently defeated the Milwaukee Buckettes 126-37 on Saturday. They will play again next weekend in St. Louis for a pair of games.
