The Green Bay Rockers turned a 5-2 deficit into an 8-5 road victory against the Kokomo Jackrabbits Wednesday night.
The Rockers registered single tallies in the second and fifth innings but found themselves down 5-2 late after the Jackrabbits scored twice in the sixth inning. Max Mims tied the game in the seventh with a three-run homer and the Rockers took the lead in the eighth inning with an unearned run on a wild pitch. They would score twice more in the ninth as insurance thanks to a two-run single by Jack Holman.
The Rockers' road trip continues Thursday with a 6:05 p.m. first pitch in the state capitol against the Madison Mallards.
