Rockers clip Mallards in extras

A run-scoring double by Austin Fawley in the 10th inning proved to be the difference as the Green Bay Rockers secured a 3-2 victory in Madison Thursday night against the Mallards.

There was no score until the seventh inning when Isaiah Jackson's single drove in the first run for the Mallards. With the game tied after a sacrifice fly for the Rockers, Kendal Ewell gave the team a brief lead with an RBI double. The Mallards would respond in the ninth inning to tie the game, setting up Fawley's heroics in the 10th. Michael Riley picked up the win for the Rockers, pitching the final four innings while giving up one run on two hits and striking out one.

The two teams play against each other again Friday night at 6:35 p.m.
