For the second straight night, the Green Bay Rockers won by the smallest of margins on Friday night, beating their hosts, the Madison Mallards, 2-1.
Losing 1-0 for much of the game, Austin Fawley sent the Mallards fans into the seventh-inning stretch in a sour mood with a two-run homer. The teams only had eight combined in the game (5 for the Rockers, 3 for the Mallards), including two hits in each team's rally in their respective innings.
The Rockers return home for Saturday and Sunday games against the Battle Creek Jacks.
