Packers' offense shines in win over Bengals

The Jordan Love era got off to a good start on Thursday as the Green Bay Packers beat the Cincinnati Bengals 36-19 on the road Friday night.

Love led the Packers on its opening drive to a touchdown, going 7-10 before finding Romeo Doubs in the endzone for the score. The Packers traded touchdowns for field goals as Tyler Goodson rushed in from short distance to make it 14-3 before the Bengals made it 14-6. A pick-six off of Sean Clifford and a couple of field goals actually gave the Bengals a small lead before Clifford led a touchdown drive to end the half and give the Packers a 21-16 lead.

Undrafted rookie running back Emanuel Wilson stole the show in the second half, scoring twice including an 80-yard rush to cap off the scoring on his 111-yard rushing day. The Packers' offense outscored the Bengals 15-3 in the second half.

The Packers now return home before they welcome the New England Patriots for a pair of practices and their second preseason game.
