NRSN to broadcast Sister Bay/Egg Harbor semifinal matchup

With the playoff field set for the Door County League playoffs, so is the NEW Radio Sports Network schedule covering it.

Paul Schmitt and Reece Robillard will be in Sister Bay when the Bays battle Egg Harbor in the DCL semifinals with a matchup between Kolberg and Washington Island lurking in the background. The Bays earned their DCL's top spot with a 13-2 win against Maplewood on Sunday. Stew Larsen had three hits and three RBI to lead the Bays offensively with Tom Sawyer, Sam Forkert, and Casey Wedding all having multi-RBI games as well. The Indians held off a motivated Institute team on Friday night before the rains came, beating the Cubs 8-6. The Indians attacked the Cubs early and often as they jumped out to a 5-0 lead after two innings. Eric DeJardine delivered the team's biggest blow early on with a one-out, two-run double in the gap in the first inning. With the rain coming down and lightning in the sky, the Indians would deal the Cubs what would be two fatal blows in the sixth inning with DeJardine and Nick Posh recording run-scoring outs.

The game will be broadcast on 105.1 The GOAT and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 1:15 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the first pitch at 1:30 p.m. NEW Radio Sports Network will follow the action for the championship game at the top remaining seed with the broadcast beginning at the same times.
