Luxemburg-Casco volleyball returns to NEC action against Oconto Falls

The Luxemburg-Casco will only have to worry about Oconto Falls on Tuesday night after wrapping up a busy tournament in Milwaukee over the weekend.

The Luxemburg-Casco volleyball team finished in the middle of the pack of the Charger Challenge in Milwaukee over the weekend, but it came away with some valuable experience for the season's stretch run. The team came in 17th place out of 32 teams, facing the bulk of their problems in pool play. The Spartans beat Wisconsin Lutheran 25-14, 25-21 before losing to Sauk Prairie 17-25, 25-12, 13-15 and Arrowhead 17-25, 25-20, 10-15. They would rebound in the bronze bracket, beating Germantown 25-16, 25-12 and Waukesha West 19-25, 25-20, 15-11.

The Panthers are riding a six-match winning streak into the Luxemburg-Casco gym Tuesday night, a string of victories that includes a perfect 4-0 mark at the Pulaski Invite where they only dropped one set to Kewaskum in their wins against the Indians, NEW Lutheran, Kiel, and West De Pere.

The opening serve is at 7 p.m.

No results were shared from Monday's match between Sturgeon Bay and Brillion.
