L-C soccer stays at home to face Gibraltar/Sevastopol

The Luxemburg-Casco soccer team returns home for a non-conference fixture against Gibraltar/Sevastopol on Tuesday night.

The Spartans left their quadrangular without a win as they lost their matches to Port Washington 1-0 and Platteville/Lancaster 3-2. Quentin Massart made three saves in each match. The Spartans were held scoreless on the weekend until Johan Amador found the back of the net in the 54th minute to make the game 2-1 at the time. Reese Barbiaux added a goal in the 72nd minute but it wasn't enough to steal a victory.

The Gibraltar/Sevastopol soccer team left without a win but did sneak out of the Wrightstown tournament with a tie. The United lost to Marinette 1-0 to start their day but rebounded to tie Altoona/Fall Creek in its second match.
